Augmented Reality vs. Virtual Reality
Virtual reality is the reflection of a virtual world whereby users interact and evolve in a universe fashioned entirely out of our imagination. For its part, augmented reality is a combination of virtual reality and real life.
Preverco’s application uses augmented reality in order to place a virtual wood floor sample into your actual environment. With your iPad camera’s video displayed on the screen, it serves as a window showing your surroundings and enabling you to see and try out the virtual sample.
To be specific, the Preverco application is approximately 25% virtual within 75% of a real world ;-)
