You can have a solid wood floor (SolidClassic) in your basement or condo if you first install a subfloor over the concrete that you can nail the floor into.

Engineered floor 19 mm (≈3/4ʺ) thick and composed of a 4mm (≈5/32ʺ) hardwood top layer on 15mm (≈19/32ʺ) Baltic Birch plywood comprising 11 layers. Random board lengths up to 7' for a more natural look.
